The Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Lifts (EIA) is the competent control body designated by the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) for the implementation of market controls on lifts and passenger conveyor systems outside of companies.
Elevator alarm system
Anyone placing elevators on the market in Switzerland must notify the Federal Inspectorate for Lifts within 30 days of placing them on the market.
